Ayurveda workshop - Mindful well being
Time & Location
About the event
Ayurveda is the oldest natural healing science originating from India, and it is the sister science of Yoga. Although thousands of years old, it is still just as relevant today, as it teaches us how to live mindfully, in balance with nature, for optimal health and well being.
“Ayur” stands for Life, and “Veda” knowledge, therefore Ayurveda signifies the ‘Knowledge of Life’. It is also translated as the ‘Science of Life’. Ayurveda teaches a very scientific approach to our health and well being through our lifestyle. The first thing Ayurveda instructs is connecting man with nature, and teaches us through our everyday activities, nutrition, sleep patterns, and relationships, how to get as close to our roots and our true nature as possible.
Ayurveda explain any disease, pain or discomfort, is a sign of imbalance in the body and in the spirit. It teaches we are a whole and should be looked and healed as a whole, including the physical, mental, and emotional body.
